What are your rates?
When planning a shoot with you, I take into consideration your specific needs to get the best photo possible. My rates are competitive–please get in touch with your needs and I will be happy to prepare a quote for you.
Do I need to make a deposit to confirm a booking?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The deposit will go towards the total cost of your shoot and is refundable if you provide more than 48 hours notice of a cancellation.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a refund on your deposit, cancellation requests must be made with 48 hours’ notice from the start of your session. If you are unable to provide 48 hour notice, we can reschedule your shoot at no extra charge. Exceptions may be made for special circumstances.
What payment do you accept?
Payments can be made by cash, e-transfer, or credit card.
Where can we shoot?
Anywhere! We are able to shoot in a studio, at your office, home, outdoors, or even outside of Edmonton or internationally.
I want hair & makeup, can you book that?
Absolutely! Being active in the Edmonton photography community for over a decade has allowed me to connect with many talented hair and makeup artists for all hair styles and skin tones. Just mention you would like hair and/or makeup for your shoot when getting in touch. Booking your shoot early will ensure we have the best availability of artists.
Is hair and makeup really worth the extra cost?
Definitely. Most people choose to do their own hair and makeup, which is not a problem, but the value of a professional hair & makeup artist shouldn’t be underestimated. They’re specialized for on-camera makeup, which is different from your day-to-day application. It’ll also save you time and is one less thing to worry about. Consider it an investment in looking and feeling your best!
How long will it take to get my photos?
After your shoot, you will receive your pre-edit proofs in 2-4 business days. After making your selections, turnaround time for your final photos ranges from 1-2 weeks on average (sometimes sooner). If you need your photos faster, I can usually accept rush requests for a small fee.
I don’t know what to wear! How do I pose?
That’s okay! If you have questions on what to wear or what to bring, don’t hesitate to ask–I can provide you a number of easy, low stress options. During the shoot, I will provide gentle direction to make you look and feel great, without it feeling forced.
Can you photograph my team? Office? Family? Large group?
Of course! Let me know your needs when you get in touch. I can accommodate almost all types of groups.
